CarterGore x FineTuned – A Photo Diary
On a gloriously sunny Saturday, we packed up our gear and headed across the water to The Albert Dock for our very first pop up at The British Style Collective’s FineTuned festival. We rocked up at 7:30 in the morning – absolute crack of dawn – to carefully unload our vintage display cabinets and lay out our Tattoo Candy / Carnival Wonderland pieces.
Did you know: our display cabinet was a find in a junk shop – after Liberty of London sprayed one of their original display cases bright red for a Christmas theme and then didn’t invest the funds to strip it back. Cathy lovingly restored it back to its former glory … with a little bit of extra CarterGore killer. If you’ve seen this thing – then you’ll get why that’s so impressive.
With all four corners of the dock alive and bustling with street food, vintage fairs, classic cars and artisan makers – the energy of the weekend was rattling with sheer buzz and a frenetic banter that was right up our street.
We met a whole bunch of awesome people, with founders Cathy and Gary front of house, as ever. The hearts, horses and unicorns took on the role of proverbial hotcakes this time around, with the pineapples taking some spotlight, too.
